You can also cook a bigger amount, keep the rest in a container and store it in the fridge for up to 5 days – simply add some water or milk before reheating in the microwave or on a stove. This makes it even faster to prepare in the morning!

5. Porridge

Porridge can be made easily and quickly by adding some water to your leftover cooked rice and bringing it to boil. Add some simple ingredients such as shredded chicken or chopped vegetables and season it with some soy sauce and pepper. This is a comforting dish that will warm up your body and is easy to digest, so it is especially suitable if you happen to be wake up feeling under the weather.
